MIDDLE SCHOOL

Developing Exceptional Students

Located at the Albany campus, Windsor School’s Middle School is focused on developing students’ character, independence and knowledge inside and outside the classroom. In addition to core classes, students have the opportunity to take elective courses where they can learn new skills and explore areas of interest. With an average class size of 16-20 students, our Middle School students learn from supportive faculty who both challenge and inspire Windsor students to reach their full potential.

Middle School Curriculum

In grades 6-8, Windsor School students focus on four core subjects: English, Mathematics, Science and Humanities. Each year, the core subjects build on the student’s knowledge gained in the previous year and challenge them in new ways. In addition to the core subjects, students have the opportunity to select up to two elective courses each semester. After the core subject areas are taught throughout the morning, students enjoy the elective courses in the afternoon. Current Middle School elective offerings include: Modern Language (Spanish or French), STEM, Physical Education, Music, Art and Drama.
