Preparing Riders for the Next Level

Coming in Fall of 2022, Albany Equestrian Club will provide the Equestrian Academy students with state-of-the-art on-site facilities to train horses, improve their skills and develop as top equestrians in the sport. Student athletes will receive personalized instruction both in the barn, in the saddle and in the fitness facilities, preparing them to be elite athletes, horsemen and riders. At Albany, we will provide a variety of horses to facilitate different levels of experience while growing each individual’s skill level. We encourage Academy students to board their own horse to develop the partnership further with our customized training program established by the Director of Equestrian.

Supporting Riders to Pursue Excellence

The exclusive program pairs exceptional college prep and elite equestrian instruction. This is a first program of its kind in The Bahamas, bringing excellence in the classroom along with the training of top equestrian athletes. Riders in the Equestrian program will participate in daily riding sessions, complimented with horse care, equine science and general equestrian knowledge. The Academy will encourage competition and build opportunities for local, “A-rated” shows in the States and International FEI competitions. At our new facilities, we are excited to also host clinics from some of the world’s most renown equestrians, providing our riders the opportunity to be exposed to the best and brightest in the sport show jumping.
