The Albany Golf Academy
The Albany Golf Academy at Windsor combines all aspects of the game to elevate student-athletes to the next level. With physical training, coaching, on-course play multiple times per week and on weekends, and targeted short game practice, the golf program provides a rigorous and disciplined schedule to help cultivate the game’s top athletes.
Using the latest technologies including a launch monitor, swing catalyst, and 3D motion analysis, student-athletes can assess and improve all areas of their game. They also utilize the same championship golf course and practice facilities enjoyed by some of the world’s foremost athletes, who live and play at Albany.
Learn from World-Class Professionals
Students of The Albany Golf Academy have the opportunity to learn from Director of Golf and British PGA professional Jon Hearn. Jon has more than 20 years of experience and has coached some of golf’s most successful LPGA and PGA TOUR players. In addition, student-athletes train with a variety of mobility, strength, cardio, swimming and yoga professionals that form well-rounded athletes.
Teaching Philosophy
The Albany Golf Academy combines world-class facilities with highly respected coaches to form a program where students-athletes can grow into the leaders and champions of the future. Knowing each golfer, swing, and skill set is unique, The Albany Golf Academy implements a training and tracking system to capture data and progression over time. Our goal is to create well-rounded, highly-efficient, and adaptive golfers that can compete at the highest collegiate level.
Championship Golf Course and Top-Tier Facilities
At The Albany Golf Academy, our student-athletes train and play on the same championship golf course as the Hero World Challenge, a Tiger Woods-hosted, PGA TOUR-sanctioned event. The 18-hole, par-72 golf course was designed by Ernie Els and measures 7,400 yards from the back tees. Student-athletes experience on-course play multiple times a week.
Albany’s practice facilities and performance center include a 400-yard driving range, short game greens and chipping areas, with the latest technologies available, such as TrackMan Range, TrackMan 4 and Swing Catalyst, to capture swing and playing data to support player development. At Albany, students-athletes have everything they need to take their game to the next level.
