Our uniquely challenging curriculum is delivered by exceptional, dedicated teachers who bring a special energy to our campus. While we emphasize academic excellence, we also focus on teaching our students to appreciate and respect our unique culture and location.

Setting a Firm Foundation for Lifelong Learning
In Year 1 through Year 6 (ages 5-11), classes at the Lower School Campus follow a curriculum that blends Windsor's unique, independent teaching methods with the renowned Cambridge International Primary curriculum. This approach covers key academic and co-curricular subjects, including Mathematics, Literacy, Science, Humanities, World Languages, Physical Education, and the Arts.
Students are encouraged to build confidence, pursue innovation, engage in reflection, and practice responsibility. The curriculum emphasizes creativity and self-expression with a particular focus on the outdoors, the environment, and becoming true global citizens.
Alongside a comprehensive and engaging independent primary curriculum, Windsor conducts summative assessments using Cambridge Primary Insight (formerly known as InCAS), allowing us to benchmark our students' performance against peers worldwide. Additionally, Bahamian Grade Level Assessment Tests (GLATs) are available to Year 4 students.
